I am an independent video and film producer, director and editor currently based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. In 2015, I cofounded Reel Clever Films LLC, a tiny but full-service, proudly immigrant-owned video and film production company primarily doing documentary and doc-style filmmaking for various non-profits, national media publications, and storytelling-based commercials. Wearing many hats to go above and beyond client expectations, I have successfully spearheaded and executed many broadcast, new media, and digital film and video projects, being directly involved in all aspects of production, from pre-production down to delivery.
I am a New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Program Fellow, a Sundance Institute Creative Producing Fellow for their Detroit class, and a core member of FINAL GIRLS, a collective of professional working female filmmakers in Detroit. You may have seen my commissions published in such media outfits like like AJ+, The Atlantic, TheRoot.com, Vox Media, Huffington Post, Gizmodo, and more. In my most recent work as the in-house Senior Video Producer for a Detroit marketing agency, I developed a small video team from the ground up to successfully deliver over 50 video projects for social media and programmatic marketing formats.
I am always on the search for the next big story. I am never not satisfying my inner curiosities. I am always on the move looking for a new crazy challenge to solve.
Let’s work together!
